The Home Edition of the Food Smart family is designed to meet the personal needs of people using a computer at home.

This version allows users to analyze their personal daily intake records, favorite recipes, multi-day menus, or specific food items for nutritional content and compare the results to personalized RDA’s.

Persons following, or helping to manage a specialized diet plan, or those with diabetes will certainly benefit from the ability to calculate diabetic exchanges for individual food items, favorite recipes, multi-day menus and daily intake records. The included nutrition help topics will assist you in better understanding your current diet.

Here are some suggestions on how to get the most out of evaluating our software:

  Make a list of the tasks you would want to perform with our software, then once you have installed a
      Food Smart demonstration, confirm that we provide features which facilitate these tasks.

      This is the best way for you to judge whether or not Food Smart is the right product for your needs.

      We want to make sure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase, so evaluate our
      software carefully - we're proud of our software, but there are always alternatives and every product
      family has its own set of strengths and weaknesses which will suit your needs differently.

  When in doubt ask us. There are many ways to accomplish common tasks within Food Smart, and
      sometimes these options are not obvious to new users - when evaluating our software, please email
      us any specific questions you may have about features you are not sure how to use, or needs that
      seem not addressed.
